What are your consultation hours?
***I am away Dec 20-Jan 3.***
Appointment times are 1.30pm-7pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays. (NO Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays). There is no morning and no public holidays availability.
Messages related to appointment inquiries will be answered during my office hours. If you message me during non office hours, I will get back to you after the resumption of regular office hours.
Questions related to individual conditions and concerns will be addressed in an initial consultation. I don’t provide consultation via messaging or phone calls.

How do I set up an appointment?
If you would like to schedule a first meeting, message me to indicate what kind of therapy you are seeking (adult, couples, teen or child). Depending on my availability, I will schedule you for the earliest time that works for you.
What is your cancellation policy?
I have a 24 hour cancellation policy.
Do you accept credit cards?
Sorry, there is no credit card processing facility. Fees can be settled by cash or checks.
What if I have questions about therapy that I want to ask?

If you have questions/concerns specific to your situation that are not answered on those pages, we will address them at our initial consultation session.
You might also consider the list of mental health service providers under “Other Resources” on my Contact page. There, you will find condition-specific services and some free and low-fee service providers. The point is, you don’t have to deal with your difficulties alone.
What do I need to bring for my 1st appointment?
After we schedule a time, I will send you a document to review and sign. Please bring that signed document to your first appointment.
What do I do if my appointment is after 6.30?
If your appointment is after 6.30 M-F, or on a Saturday, our reception is closed and so please message or call me directly when you arrive. If you arrive early for your appointment while our reception is closed, you will need to wait for our scheduled appointment time to be let in.
If my appointment is before 6.30, do I need to call you when I arrive?
Our reception on 10/F is open till 6.30pm, Monday-Friday. If your appointment is scheduled before 6.30 on a weekday, when you arrive please let the reception know that you are here to see Dr. Bertie. You can have a seat in the waiting area while waiting to be picked up at our scheduled time.
